What Does "Yoga" Mean?

  • Yoga is a Sanskrit word that translates as “union”, or “to yoke.” At Yoga Leaf we encourage you, through this ancient practice, to unite your mind, body, and spirit while also uniting into a supportive community. We want you to live your most inspired and connected life, on and off the mat.

I retired at 65 with a body that was weak from a desk job and a little excess weight that needed attention. Yoga appealed to me and now after starting Yoga ... I am 30 pounds lighter and feel a strength throughout my entire body that I haven’t felt for a long time.
